Let's Give Back Together

Our Mission

Picture
Our mission is to connect volunteers with local nonprofits through our community-wide service events. Our goal is to get people of all ages and all backgrounds excited about volunteering and we hope that we can allow for the volunteers to connect with a nonprofit that they enjoy and want to continue their volunteer service.

How we achieve this goal

Hopewell Gives Back started an annual Martin Luther King Day of Service in 2017. Since then, the event has doubled in size. The organization is now hosting a blood drive to further give back to the community.

Martin Luther King Day of Service

On Martin Luther King Day, Hopewell Gives Back brings together people of all ages in the community to volunteer. Together, they participate in various activities run by numerous nonprofits in the area. They make fleece blankets for the homeless, bake cookies, make native plant seed bombs, put together sanitary packages, and decorate packages. Everyone works in a group they may not know very well in an effort to foster new relationships and connections in the community. We want our volunteers to have fun and socialize so that they view community service as a fulfilling experience for them and the organizations benefiting.
